Keiths attempt to face his memories went horribly wrong...
In this chapter I tried to focus more on the atmosphere, and to add a few more visual effects than in the old version. Gab plays a version of Kaz that Keith fears the most here, vengeful and angry. But: this is also what Keith thinks he deserves, and Gab knows that already. I'm not sure if this is really clear (as always lol), but ofc this is Gab messing with Keith, using his magic to make Keiths worst nightmares come true.
This chapter became a bit longer than I planned, and it was also really a lot of work to draw. uu I hope you like it. 🖤🖤

It was well worth all the work ;) I could really feel Keith's emotions, his anxiety, his fears, his guilt from the pictures. As well as his confusion; whether it's really happening to him or if he's imagining it. I like it a lot, in the start he reaches for the fridge - because when he's upset he eats, which I think makes him very real. The chapter overall was sufficiently depressing and kept me completely engaged. I can't wait for the sequel!

Ah, this is so beautiful, in dark way. Keith's emotions are on a plate. I like the detail, that he feels depressed, so he wants to eat that out... but he has enough control to not start it over. The apparition that haunts him is very real, sharp aas guilt Keith feels.

Such a powerful chapter! The way you visualised Keith's torment, his supposed hallucinations, truly kept me at the edge of my seat! I have also deeply felt his pain 😭. I presumed it was Gab, mercilessly messing with our poor boy. What a low blow. I hope he enjoyed it...! The cover art for this chapter looks absolutely stunning, btw.
